Eversight for Good Hits 2018 Goals, Sets Sights on Strong 2019

At the start of 2018, Eversight for Good aimed to double their outreach events from the previous year. Through the efforts of teams across California, Illinois, and Michigan during the holiday season Eversight for Good was able to achieve that goal.

The Palo Alto, CA office volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Carlos, a member organization of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. The team spent the day sorting food from donation barrels into categorized large bins for grains, protein, candy, etc. and in the span of two hours sorted 9,494 pounds of food!

The Chicago-based team made handmade holiday cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids, an internationally recognized charitable organization that spreads hope, joy, and magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, handmade cards. The team created cards for two dozen Chicago area kids in local hospitals and Ronald McDonald houses.

Employees in Grand Rapids, MI volunteered through the Salvation Army with Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship that reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families to provide necessities and gifts for the holiday season. The team participated in the sorting of thousands of toys and the set up of a local hall where families could come to choose toys for their children.

Eversight for Good will look to carry this momentum into 2019, focusing on a wide range of efforts and partnering with organizations across the United States.
